Swiss Successes Ensure Strong Sporting Record The Swiss had cause to celebrate in terms of sport. Already on Friday and Saturday, numerous podium places and top results garnered excitement. On Sunday, Swiss athletes particularly impressed in the women's Cross-Country Olympic Race (XCO). Ronja Blöchlinger rode to her first World Cup podium finish in the XCO with a second place, marking a special highlight. Sina Frei narrowly missed the podium, finishing fourth. Nicole Koller in seventh and Ramona Forchini in ninth rounded off the strong Swiss team performance.
In the U23 women's category, Fiona Schibler, Anina Hutter, and Monique Halter placed fourth to sixth, impressively underscoring the strength of the Swiss youth athletes.
More Than Sport: Festival Atmosphere in the Bike Kingdom The Anniversary Edition X was not just about sporting excellence. There was also much celebrating off the track. The new side events were a hit: The Chopfab Team Race quickly became a crowd favorite, attracting many spectators to the track, who at times were almost as loud as during the downhill races.
On Saturday evening, the DJ Battle of Styles brought the W.O.W. Party Dome to life, creating a festival atmosphere late into the night. The creative street art installations gave the event area a unique anniversary touch. The resulting artwork will soon adorn the Cabin Hit as a lasting memory of the tenth edition.
'Anniversary Edition X was exactly what we wished for our anniversary: world-class sport, emotions, party, sunshine, and thousands of excited fans. It was a festival for the entire mountain bike community and a worthy milestone in our history,' said Christoph Müller, OK President.
Thanks, Outlook, and Lasting Memories A special thanks go to the numerous volunteers as well as the army and civil protection. Without their tireless efforts, an event of this magnitude would not be possible. The organizing committee also thanks all partners, suppliers, and the entire region for their support.
With the successful Anniversary Edition X, another chapter of Lenzerheide's World Cup history comes to an end. At the same time, eyes are already on the future: The organizing committee hopes to continue the success story in 2027 and bring the Mountain Bike World Cup back to the Bike Kingdom.
What remains are unforgettable emotions, images that go around the world, and a weekend full of genuine W.O.W. moments in the world of wonders. Once again, the Bike Kingdom has impressively demonstrated: Lenzerheide is and remains a home of the Mountain Bike World Cup - and a place where sport and festival uniquely merge.
