06.03.2026, The entrepreneur, lawyer (European law), and trained mediator Barbara Neuerburg will strengthen the consultancy community KMES Partner at the Zurich location starting March 1, 2026. Barbara Neuerburg brings extensive entrepreneurial experience with internationally operating companies into the consultancy, focusing on issues such as corporate governance and mediation in complex crisis situations, particularly for internationally active companies.
Founded 15 years ago by Hans Klaus, Ruth Metzler, and Daniel Eckmann, and first expanded in 2015 with Markus Spillmann, the consultancy community now includes 12 partners. They all have many years of leadership and management experience and complement each other with their individual expertise in specialist fields, industries, and consultancy.
KMES Partner specializes in strategic, analytical, and communicative-strategic support and consultancy for companies, corporations, and leaders in complex issues at the intersection of business, politics, and the public. The partners discreetly and personally manage the mandates, either individually or collaboratively within the partnership. They all possess an extensive network in business and politics at both national and international levels.
The new KMES Partner from March 1, 2026:
Barbara Neuerburg holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) and an LL.M in European Law (Europe Institute in Saarland, Germany). Today, she is already a successful entrepreneur in the field of international company settlements in Switzerland and holds several mandates on boards of directors and advisory boards in Switzerland and abroad. She focuses on consultancy activities related to corporate governance, sustainable leadership topics, and business mediation in a national and international context. Ms. Neuerburg has worked for several years in leadership positions in Dubai (U.A.E.), Luxembourg, and Switzerland. For KMES Partner, she will further develop international relationships and mandates in the future. With her extensive leadership experience at the board and corporate management levels, she is destined to accompany complex topics and issues for a broad spectrum of clients. Barbara Neuerburg lives in Richterswil (ZH), is married, and has four children.
