20.04.2026, Free shows and concerts, including Bastian Baker, Angie Ott or Junior Tshaka, will delight young and old at the shopping centre from 17th to 20th June. A stepping stone will give a young artist the opportunity to perform at this event.

On 11 November 2011 at 11:11, the Migros Neuchâtel-Fribourg Cooperative opened a brand-new Marin Centre to the delight of the people of Neuchâtel. 15 years later, the mall on the first floor of the second largest shopping centre in western Switzerland will host a unique, free festival to celebrate this anniversary in collaboration with the Migros Culture Percentage.

Junior Tshaka and the Neuchâtel Schools Choir The festivities will begin on Wednesday, 17th June with a playful, modern, and humorous magic show by Neuchâtel resident David Schultess. At the end of the day, Junior Tshaka will give an acoustic concert, surrounded by his musicians and accompanied by more than 100 singers from the secondary schools in the canton of Neuchâtel. As part of this special project, carried out in collaboration with Musique-école of the Neuchâtel Conservatory of Music, he will perform pieces from his 20-year career. This will please the many disappointed people who failed to get their hands on a valuable ticket for the shopping Sunday at Festi'neuch.

Two concerts by Bastian Baker and an autograph session On Thursday, 18th June, Swiss star Bastian Baker will present his new concert: after more than a decade of touring the world, its stages, and the most prestigious festivals, the No. 1 artist from western Switzerland has decided to return to his roots and organise an intimate acoustic tour close to his audience. The programme will include all his hits in their original version, anecdotes from the tours, interaction, improvisation, and a ‘à la carte’ setlist. As the icing on the (birthday) cake, Bastian Baker will perform twice (at 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm) and will also be available for an autograph session in between.

"We make rap": educational and interactive hip-hop show by Sim's and DJ Menas Hip-hop culture will be in the spotlight on Friday, 19th June with the musical, interactive, and educational show "On fait le rap". Written and performed by the Jura rapper Sim's and Neuchâtel DJ Menas, this creation explores the origins and techniques of rap through demonstrations and the creation of a live piece. After the show, children can learn about and try out different types of turntables and equipment used by the DJs.

Angie Ott in an acoustic trio Finally, on Saturday, 20th June, after the concert of the winner of the "15 years Marin Centre stepping stone" competition (see below), the shopping centre will vibrate to the sounds of the beautiful and captivating voice of Angie Ott. David Schultess will also return for two magic shows.

A stepping stone for young local artists Young musicians from the canton of Neuchâtel are invited to submit a video of their performance (concert, rehearsal, or clip) at migrosnf.ch/tremplin by 10th May 2026. A jury will select three finalists whose videos will be posted on the Marin Centre’s Instagram page. The video that collects the most likes will enable its creator to perform on the festival stage on the early afternoon of Saturday, 20th June and win a cash prize of 500 CHF.

Unique animations to discover Two days after the last notes of music have sounded on the first floor of the Marin Centre, the mall will transform into a giant funfair. Around 15 machines with arcade and skill games will be available free of charge to charm children and evoke memories for parents. This playful and festive atmosphere will permeate the entire shopping centre, with face-pulling workshops, candyfloss distributions, bubble shows, and other surprises in front of the various shops.

The festivities will continue in August with the return of the incredible 'Jurassic Island' exhibition with its lifelike animatronic dinosaurs, which caused a sensation last year and were distributed in different areas of the centre.
