02.02.2026, Great applause, visible enthusiasm from the audience, and an evening full of enjoyment: With the premiere of 'Betty Bossi's Cooking and Dinner Spectacle,' the new live format celebrated a successful start at DASZELT in Winterthur. Over 500 guests experienced a unique combination of Swiss cuisine, entertainment, and practical cooking knowledge.


The show combined a live-cooked four-course menu with an elaborate mix of light, music, and moving images. In three show segments, the evening embarked on a culinary journey through Switzerland: from alpine classics to modern kitchen hacks to the fine art of chocolate.

Central to the event were practical, everyday tips: Betty Bossi's cooking expert Marcela Gschliesser showcased live in the mobile Miele show kitchen how to perfect Onsen eggs, bring out the full aroma of mushrooms, or prepare hollandaise sauce stress-free. Mushroom expert Markus Flück enriched the program with in-depth insights from decades of experience, while Lindt EXCELLENCE Maître Chocolatiers introduced the audience to the sensory world of chocolate.

The evening was charmingly hosted by presenter Nicole Berchtold, delivering sharp and engaging commentary. Comedian Sven Ivanic provided humour and engagement with interactive quiz, tasting, and participation elements, ensuring a lively atmosphere under the tent.

An emotional highlight was celebrating Betty Bossi's 70th anniversary: Together with the audience and several birthday guests, the Swiss culinary icon was honoured with a live-decorated chocolate cake.
