Since his start on October 1, 2016, as CEO of localsearch, Stefano Santinelli has guided the company through an exceptionally intense phase of transformation. Under his leadership, localsearch evolved from a traditional directory business into a modern digital marketing and platform company, which today helps Swiss SMEs succeed in a digital world.
After 10 years as CEO of localsearch, Stefano Santinelli has decided to seek new opportunities. Together with the Board of Directors, an orderly transition of CEO responsibilities has been planned and implemented. The formal handover of the CEO role is taking place immediately. Stefano Santinelli will accompany the transition phase in parts and support the company until the end of June.
Stefano Santinelli says of his decision: "My time at localsearch has been very formative for me. Our business has constantly had to reinvent itself—from a 'telephone directory company' to a digital marketing and platform provider, most recently influenced by the dynamics surrounding artificial intelligence. localsearch today stands on a robust operational and strategic foundation. I have now decided to consciously and orderly pass on the responsibility. My great thanks go to all employees for their commitment, their openness to change, and the many shared successes. I also thank the Board of Directors for their long-standing trust and partnership support."

Until the definitive succession solution is in place, operational responsibility remains with the executive management. John Lee, Chief Strategy and New Business Officer and Deputy CEO, takes over the role of CEO on an interim basis, with support from CFO Roland Hunn. Together with the executive management, they ensure that the company remains stable, operational, and on its strategic course.
