17.09.2025, As of January 1, 2026, there will be a change in the management of Allianz Suisse. Agata Przygoda, who has been Chief Operating Officer and a member of the management board since 2022, has decided to take a family break before assuming a new role within the Allianz Group. Her successor in the management team will be Patrick Maurer, who has been with Allianz Suisse in various specialist and management functions since 2007.

Agata Przygoda began her Allianz career in 2007 as Procedures and Quality Team Manager at Allianz Bank Polska. Since then, she has held various operational specialist and managerial positions within the Allianz Group. Since 2017, she has served as COO, initially for the Central and Eastern Europe region, then at Allianz Slovakia, and most recently at Allianz Suisse. Over the last four years, she has effectively contributed her extensive operational expertise at Allianz Suisse, significantly advancing digitalization. Under her leadership, Allianz Suisse enhanced the sustainability of its IT, introduced artificial intelligence for systematic use within the company, increased its maturity for data-driven decisions, and continuously developed agile collaboration.

Patrick Maurer began his career at Allianz Suisse in 2007 as a project manager. In 2010, he was appointed 'Head of IT-Requirements Engineering', where he was responsible for the requirements management of operations applications. From 2015, he took on responsibility for the Individual Life sector, successfully driving growth through new products and initial digital transformations. From 2020 to 2024, he served as 'Head of Corporate / Digital Transformation', where he advanced agile transformation with more than 300 employees and introduced innovative topics such as process mining and AI initiatives. Recently, he successfully applied his skills to support sales growth as 'Head of Business Development Sales'. The father of two has a background in insurance and holds a master's degree in project management from the University of Salzburg.

'I am very pleased that we were able to recruit Patrick Maurer, an internal successor with an impressive record, for the position of COO. His appointment allows us to achieve a seamless transition, as he knows Allianz well from various management positions. I look forward to future collaboration. At the same time, I would like to sincerely thank Agata for her great commitment in recent years and her achievements, particularly in the area of digitalization at Allianz Suisse. I wish her all the best for her private and professional future,' said Laura Gersch, CEO of Allianz Suisse.
