06.05.2026, Dietikon () - Young talents deserve applause - and a stage that extends far beyond apprenticeships. The Pestalozzi Stiftepriis 2026 honours graduates from building envelope and technology, as well as metal construction and processing, who impress with above-average performance.

Completing an apprenticeship with a strong finish proves more than just good grades. It involves commitment, precision, perseverance, and the willingness to take on responsibility. Such young professionals are exactly what Switzerland needs. In workshops, on construction sites, in planning offices, and production facilities, they make significant contributions early on. The Pestalozzi Stiftepriis highlights this achievement and honours young people who already impress with their skills and reliability at the start of their career.

A Prize with Impact

The Pestalozzi Stiftepriis is far more than an award. It underscores the importance of top professional achievements in craft and technical occupations and sends a strong message for dual vocational education. It also brings attention to the training companies that nurture, guide, and trust young people with responsibility. In 2026, the award will be presented in German-speaking Switzerland for the 44th time. In the Romandie, the Prix Apprentissage will be awarded for the eleventh time, marking the award as a well- established institution and a platform for young professionals who make a clear statement with their graduation.

Well-Educated Professionals Shape the Future

Occupations related to building envelopes and technology, as well as metal construction and processing, demand technical understanding, precision, and a high standard of quality. Those who complete with strong achievements have the best foundations to actively shape the future. This is why supporting the next generation of professionals is so important. The Pestalozzi Group and its subsidiary Gabs AG have been passionately committed to vocational education for many years. Each year, they support apprentices in various fields on their way to entering professional life. The training is practical, diverse, and closely aligned with working life. Over the past 50 years, more than 1,000 apprentices have completed their vocational training with Pestalozzi.

In November, the Stage Belongs to the Best
