Dätwyler Receives SBTi Validation and Confirms EcoVadis Platinum Rating

28.01.2026, Dätwyler (SIX: DAE), a leading provider of system-critical elastomer components, has received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its short-term, group-wide greenhouse gas reduction goals. The SBTi confirms that Dätwyler's climate targets align with current climate science and the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement.
Clear reduction targets supported by targeted measures Dätwyler is committed to reducing absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 63% by 2035, compared to the base year 2023. Additionally, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has validated the goal of reducing absolute Scope 3 emissions from purchased goods and services by 37.5% by 2035 based on the year 2024. To achieve these targets, Dätwyler follows a structured approach focusing on energy efficiency, optimized production processes, and increased use of recycled and bio-based raw materials in all plants and along the supply chain.
EcoVadis Platinum rating reaffirms Dätwyler's positioning in the top 1% In 2025, Dätwyler received the EcoVadis Platinum rating for the second consecutive year, placing it among the top 1% of more than 150,000 companies evaluated worldwide. The rating documents Dätwyler's continuous progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas and strengthens its positioning with globally operating customers in target markets. EcoVadis is an independent provider of sustainability ratings, evaluating companies in environmental, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
