04.03.2026, On Sunday, 8 March 2026, the 21st EuroAirport Aviation Collectors' Fair will take place on the 5th floor in Hall 4 of the passenger terminal, around the 'Luminator,' the final artwork by Jean Tinguely.

The event is organized in collaboration with the 'Comité Social et Economique' (CSE, Social and Economic Committee) and the EuroAirport management. The organizers hope for strong public participation.

The fair is aimed at all passionate collectors of aviation memorabilia as well as residents of the tri-national region interested in aviation. 38 exhibitors from seven different countries will present, exchange, and sell objects from aviation history. These include items such as postcards, slides, photos, books, posters, stickers, playing cards, models, toys, flight schedules, safety instructions, and other memorabilia.

The entry price for the aviation collectors' fair is 5.00 CHF / 5.00 € (free entry for children under 16, people with reduced mobility, and holders of an airport Basel-Mulhouse ID card) and the parking fee is 3.00 CHF / 2.00 €, only for the express parking areas in front of the terminal (payment at the entrance of the aviation fair).

The viewing terrace is open, as are the adjacent restaurants Rossopomodoro and Skybar. This allows visitors to experience the airport atmosphere and enjoy views of the apron and runway activities with drinks or lunch.

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg is located in Saint-Louis, France, at the tri-border area of France-Switzerland-Germany and is jointly operated by France and the Swiss canton of Basel-Stadt. It is unique worldwide due to its binational status and carries the IATA codes BSL (Switzerland), MLH (France), and EAP, as well as the ICAO code LFSB. Since its opening in 1946, the airport has developed into an important transport hub, with around 8.9 million passengers in 2024 and over 100 destinations in more than 30 countries.

The terminal is divided into French and Swiss areas with clear Schengen/Non-Schengen separation. It is accessible by bus (e.g., line 50 to Basel SBB in 17 minutes), via the nearby Saint-Louis railway station, and potentially in the future via a direct rail link. The largest airlines are easyJet, Wizz Air, Lufthansa, Swiss, Air France, and Turkish Airlines. In short: A modern, tri- national airport with a unique legal structure and central location in Europe.
