Finally Paperless: bexio Launches the Document Archive

Many Swiss SMEs manage their accounting digitally, yet often archive documents physically in binders, store them on local hard drives, or use a standard cloud storage service. This practice risks non-compliance with the Business Books Ordinance, as traditional storage solutions do not guarantee legal requirements like immutability. The new solution from bexio bridges this gap, providing the convenience of a cloud solution.

The Document Archive offers four key benefits that significantly reduce administrative effort:

-GebüV Compliance: Strict Swiss retention obligations are fully met. Relevant business documents are archived immutably, traceably, and with tamper-proof timestamps automatically in accordance with the requirements of the Business Books Ordinance (GeBüV).

-Central Data Room: Physical archives and filing cabinets become obsolete. All documents are centrally located, digitally accessible at any time.

-Highest Security Standards: The infrastructure is located in ISO-27001-certified Swiss data centers. The environment is tamper-proof and protects company data far beyond conventional cloud storage from changes or deletion.

-Order & Efficiency: Thanks to full-text search and tags, documents can be found in seconds. Trustees have direct access to the comprehensive data base upon request, greatly simplifying collaboration and audit preparation.
