18.09.2025, From September 22, dialogue facilitators will be active on behalf of the non-profit organisation FRAGILE Suisse in the Zurich cantons (Bülach and Hinwil districts). They will engage in doorstep discussions with residents to inform them about the important work of FRAGILE Suisse for people with brain injuries and their relatives. Following these discussions, it will also be possible to complete a support membership to aid the services and commitment of the organisation with regular contributions.
Brain injuries are widespread in Switzerland, with approximately 26,000 new cases occurring each year, primarily due to strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and cerebral haemorrhages, as well as other conditions. In addition to the roughly 130,000 affected individuals, around 300,000 close relatives in Switzerland are also impacted by brain injuries.
FRAGILE Suisse offers services specifically for these individuals: Through services such as free counselling, assisted living, and leisure courses, affected persons and their relatives receive guidance and support in tackling the daily challenges that come with a brain injury. To ensure the continued provision of these services, the organisation relies on donations. The door-to-door campaign aims to educate the local population about brain injuries and the importance of their work.
The dialogue facilitators can be identified by their white vests featuring the FRAGILE Suisse logo. After discussing with them, there is an opportunity to enter into a support membership to aid people with brain injuries through an annual or semi-annual contribution. FRAGILE Suisse thanks residents in advance for welcoming the dialogue facilitators and looks forward to an engaging exchange of ideas with the population.

The organisation offers services to improve the quality of life for those affected and promote their inclusion in society. It also advises and trains professionals on the topic of brain injuries, their consequences, and how to support those affected. These services are complemented by a programme of courses.
FRAGILE Suisse informs and raises public awareness about brain injuries and promotes prevention.
