17.04.2026, Globegarden, one of Switzerland's leading nursery networks, expands its management team to reinforce its commitment to sustainable growth and future readiness.

What began over 17 years ago with a single nursery has grown into an established family business: today, the network comprises around 90 nurseries with over 1,000 employees. The company remains 100% family-owned, combining entrepreneurial continuity with a clear vision for the future.

In recent years, globegarden has strategically expanded its network. Numerous nurseries have joined the network, benefiting from established quality standards and professional processes while maintaining their local identity. This diversity is a central component of the company's philosophy: the offerings on site are as individual as each child and family.

Strengthening the Management Team from Within

By appointing three new members, the management team is intentionally strengthened:

- Patricia Bergès, Chief Accounting Officer, has been with globegarden for about 15 years and has played a significant role in shaping the company's financial development through her previous experience at Ernst & Young.

- Dr. Marco Spitz, Chief Operating Officer, has been part of globegarden for 6 years. As the former founder and managing director of Kimi Krippen AG with over 30 locations, he brings extensive industry experience and is responsible for operational business, succession solutions, and network development.

- Galla Stambuk, with globegarden for 9 years, takes on the role of Chief Family Solutions, overseeing Family Solutions from collaborating with corporate clients to integrating new nurseries into the network.

Together with Silke Bührmann, Chief Education Officer and a 13-year veteran at globegarden (5 years on the management team), and the founders who continue their operational roles, a well-rounded management team with deeply rooted experience within the company is formed.

Continuity, Growth, and Corporate Culture

A central element of globegarden's corporate culture is the targeted development of own talents: employees who have shaped the company's growth over many years are now taking on leadership roles at the highest level.

"Our strength lies in the combination of entrepreneurial continuity, local diversity, and the commitment of our employees. With the expanded management team, we are creating a solid foundation for our next growth steps," says globegarden.

The family business will continue to focus on sustainable growth, educational quality, and diverse care solutions, aiming to create locally rooted and reliable offers for families.

globegarden gmbh

The nursery network globegarden is the leading provider of childcare in Switzerland. In ten years, globegarden has built a diverse network of nurseries to offer children vibrant learning and life environments with quality care during their early years. The offerings range from German- and English-speaking nursery and elementary groups to preschool and kindergarten classes.

The educational concept focuses on attachment-oriented, child-centered pedagogy and playful learning in everyday life. The focus is on each child's individual potential. An innovative care concept also requires flexible opening hours without closing times, as a good nursery caters to what is good for the family, not the other way around.
