02.07.2026, Zürich / Neuheim - Max Lehner AG, based in Zurich, will take over the operational business of FRISAG AG in Neuheim as of 1 July 2026. With this acquisition, Max Lehner AG is expanding its Swiss platform for the development, manufacturing, distribution and trade of chemical-technical quality products.

FRISAG has stood for Swiss-made specialty chemicals in the field of professional applications since 1963. Over the decades, the brand has grown in the Swiss market and offers an independent range of products for cleaning, disinfection, hygiene, facility management, trade, industry, gastronomy, and public institutions.

The FRISAG line follows a clear product philosophy: practical, concentrated, robust, and geared towards professional users. It focuses on effective specialty products with high applicability, storage stability, and user-friendly properties whenever possible.

With its integration into Max Lehner AG, FRISAG will continue as an independent brand alongside maxolen and carlack. The established product line, formulas, expertise, customer relationships, and market position of FRISAG are to be strengthened and guided into the next phase of development.

The acquisition follows a clear strategic rationale: FRISAG has been strongly rooted in the Swiss market until now. Max Lehner AG sees additional potential in this. The products are concentrated, professional, explainable, and application-oriented - qualities that make them interesting for export in the mid-term.

Dersim Stein, owner and managing director of Max Lehner AG, explains: "Right from the first contact, I had great sympathy for Urs Schildknecht, his entrepreneurial attitude, and his family's life's work. FRISAG is not just any product line but a grown, authentic Swiss brand with its own history, customer proximity, and product logic. I am attracted to the idea of uniting traditional brands on a common entrepreneurial platform without dissolving their identity.

With maxolen, we maintain our established house brand, and with carlack we already have a B2C brand in the field of classic vehicle care that is integrated into Max Lehner AG, and now with FRISAG, an authentic Swiss brand in the field of specialty chemistry for professional application is added. Each brand has its own history, its own target group, and its own justification. Our task is to preserve these strengths and further develop them with our experience in development, manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, and international marketing."

Urs Schildknecht, owner of FRISAG AG, explains: "FRISAG was founded by my father and developed as a family business over many years. I was able to continue the company in the second generation and develop it further together with employees, customers, and partners.

With Max Lehner AG, I found a Swiss company that understands the business, respects the brand, and wants to continue FRISAG with its own entrepreneurial strength. For me, it was important that not only the products, expertise, and customer relationships are in good hands but also the employees who have accompanied me and FRISAG over many years. I am pleased to know the company is now in good hands, and I thank our customers, employees, and Max Lehner AG for this succession solution.

It is good to know that FRISAG will be continued with respect for what has been achieved and with entrepreneurial strength."

The integration will proceed gradually. Customer relationships, sales structure, product data, formulas, communication, and operational processes will be transferred orderly. At the same time, sourcing, production, internal services, administration, ERP, payroll, and reporting will be integrated into the existing structure of Max Lehner AG. Max Lehner AG thanks Urs Schildknecht and FRISAG AG for the trust shown and the constructive support of the transfer. A special thanks goes to the employees, customers, and long-standing business partners of FRISAG, who have supported the development of the company over many years.

The aim of integration is to preserve the tried-and-tested, strengthen structures, and continue FRISAG as an independent Swiss quality brand.
