03.06.2026, For the first time, EuroAirport will have a hotel directly located at the terminal. Next to the main roundabout in front of the airport building on the Swiss side, a hotel complex with two hotels and a total of 140 rooms is being constructed. The opening is planned for late 2027.

The new hotels will provide passengers, airline crews, and other travelers with a direct and comfortable stay right at the airport. With its location in close proximity to the terminal, the project complements the existing service offerings of the EuroAirport and enhances its appeal as an international mobility hub.

The hotel complex, owned and operated by the KER Hospitality Group, includes two brands:

80 rooms under the IBIS BUDGET franchise (2 stars) 60 rooms under the TRIBE franchise (4 stars)

'We are pleased to realize a project together with EuroAirport that represents a significant milestone for KER Hospitality and also meets the expectations of travelers by providing a modern and perfectly integrated accommodation option within the airport environment,' explain co-CEOs Olivier Berthaud and Claude-André Deschamps.

With this project, EuroAirport is responding to a long-standing need for a hotel directly on the airport premises. Especially for passengers departing early or arriving late, the new offer significantly enhances convenience.

'The new hotel complex directly at the terminal significantly improves comfort for our passengers and sensibly complements the service offerings of EuroAirport,' says airport director Tobias Markert.

The opening of the hotels is planned for late 2027.
