22.05.2026, From Summer 2027, Nidwaldner Kantonalbank (NKB) will offer an EFZ apprenticeship as a Mediamatiker for the first time. With this new training program, the bank is investing specifically in fostering new talent, offering attractive future prospects for creative and tech-savvy young individuals.

The EFZ Mediamatic apprenticeship combines creativity, technology, and communication. During the four-year course, prospective Mediamatikers learn to design image and video content, implement marketing measures and media projects, as well as manage websites and social media channels. At the same time, they gain insight into banking operations and work in various departments such as Marketing & Communication, IT, Sales Management, and Project & Process Management.

The training equips students with skills in digital media, project management, technology, communication, design, and content creation, and encourages them to take on responsibility in different projects during their apprenticeship.

'In the fast-evolving field of digital communication, our new Mediamatic apprenticeship offers a modern training program that fosters young talent while imparting crucial future competencies,' says Alexandra Bachmann, Head of Training at Nidwaldner Kantonalbank.

The new young talent will become part of NKB's 14-member team of learners and will benefit from a diverse and practice-oriented training. Applications for the apprenticeship starting in August 2027 can be submitted now at nkb.ch/mediamatik-lehre.
