08.05.2026, Wollerau - WOLLERAU - Panini announces the launch of the official FIFA World Cup 2026(TM) sticker collection, kicking off the anticipation for the world's largest football event. Fans worldwide are invited to start their own tournament journey in the unique Panini way - by opening the first pack, discovering player stickers, and hunting for iconic team badges.

For everyone. Everywhere.

The collection represents the unifying power of football and collecting: it brings people together across countries, cultures, and generations, making the excitement for the game uniquely tangible.

"It All Starts With Panini" Campaign

The launch is accompanied by the global "It All Starts With Panini" campaign, bringing together football legends from past and present with creators and voices from the community. The goal is to celebrate the diverse collecting culture around football and place fans worldwide at the heart of the story - no matter where they are.

Romy Gai, FIFA Chief Business Officer, says: "Few traditions capture the spirit and excitement of the FIFA World Cup(TM) as well as the Panini sticker collection. As anticipation for the largest and most significant sporting event the world has ever seen continues to grow, this launch offers fans worldwide a unique opportunity to connect with the tournament - by bringing together players, teams, and host cities in a format that has shaped football culture for generations. Together with Panini, we are proud to continue creating moments that connect fans everywhere - from the first opening of a pack to completing a collection that becomes part of one's own FIFA World Cup(TM) history."

United Edition

In Switzerland, an exclusive special edition is available again: the United Edition.

Under the name "United 2026", the USA, Canada, and Mexico have joined forces as the first joint bid project in the history of a FIFA World Cup(TM).

"United" also stands for the passion for football that connects millions of people worldwide. This edition celebrates exactly this cohesion. We bring collectors together, letting trades become friendships and sharing the pure joy of the sport.

A highlight of the United Edition is the exclusive team crests on a noble, gold-shimmering background. The player stickers also stand out: they are showcased on a green background that highlights the players optimally. Additionally, the stickers are produced on thicker paper than those of the international version, offering an especially high-quality feel. The United Edition is rounded off with an exclusive metallised, high-quality softcover.

Switzerland has been regularly represented on the world's largest football stage since the FIFA World Cup 2006(TM), almost establishing itself as a regular guest of the tournament. Over these years, fans have been able to witness the development of an entire generation of players up close.

A particularly defining example is Granit Xhaka, who has evolved from a young talent to a central figure and current leader of the Swiss national team. His career symbolizes Switzerland's path as a constant and established tournament team in international football.

Panini Suisse is also very pleased to have Dan Ndoye participate in the communications campaign. For the Swiss national player, who will experience his first FIFA World Cup(TM), the "It All Starts With Panini" campaign fits perfectly with this special career moment.

Ndoye exemplifies the next generation of Swiss football and embodies the passion and dynamism that characterize the path to the World Cup. His participation in the campaign underscores the emotional connection between players, fans, and the unique collecting culture surrounding the tournament.

Facts & Figures

With the FIFA World Cup 2026(TM), the tournament reaches a new dimension: for the first time in history, 48 national teams will participate - more than ever before. This historic expansion is also reflected in the official Panini sticker collection.

The album with 112 pages includes all qualified teams. Each team features 18 players in the album, supplemented by the official crest and a team photo. In total, the collection contains 980 stickers.

New, each pack contains 7 instead of the previous 5 stickers, offering even more collecting fun per package.

The recommended retail price is CHF 1.50 for a pack of 7 stickers and CHF 4.90 for the album.

In addition, a limited special edition treasure box can be purchased in the Panini online shop and at Press&Books, which includes a hardcover album, 100 sticker packs of the United Edition, and 16 exclusive Host City Posters.

The album and stickers will be available at all newsstands, in leading supermarkets, online, and in convenience shops from 7 May 2026.
