Paprec has been operating in Switzerland for over 15 years. Initially, the group continuously expanded its presence in German-speaking Switzerland in the fields of recycling and confidential data destruction through established brands such as Lottner, Lopatex, E. Müller, Data Ex 4000, Rewag, Multimetal, and Reisswolf.
In 2024, the group significantly strengthened its position in Western Switzerland with the acquisition of Helvetia Environnement. The Paprec Swiss Group, headquartered in Geneva, then employed nearly 700 staff at 20 locations and branches in Switzerland.
The Metabader Group is a family business founded in the 1940s in Le Mont-sur- Lausanne, in the canton of Vaud. The group specializes in the transport and recovery of raw materials, particularly scrap and metals, and operates 11 locations, mainly in Western Switzerland.

'I am very pleased with the trust Jessy and Jack Bader have in us. The combination of our expertise and our dense network of locations enables us to offer industry companies and public clients tailored services so that their waste can be optimally recycled and repurposed. Paprec Metabader is thereby tasked with making a tangible contribution to the environmental challenges of the regions.'
Christophe Gence will continue to be responsible for managing the Swiss German part of the company.
