Photo Contest AGRIPHOTO: People, Animals, and Landscapes in Focus

10.03.2026, The campaign «Swiss Farmers» by the Swiss Farmers' Association launches AGRIPHOTO, a national photo contest on themes that shape daily life: people, landscapes, food, and animals. Everyone is invited to capture their personal moments and experiences, creating a diverse pictorial story of Switzerland and agriculture, which will later be showcased at Zurich's main train station.
The contest seeks authentic and personal perspectives on the themes across four categories: People, Land, Food, and Animals. The 'People' category highlights encounters, emotions, and special moments with people. In the 'Land' category, the focus is on landscapes, fields, mountains, or seasons. 'Food' showcases the journey of foods—from their origin to enjoyment. The 'Animals' category is dedicated to farm animals and pets, as well as special animal moments in everyday life. Participants can submit their images easily online.
A panel of experts from photography, media, and agriculture will judge the submitted images. There are 24 attractive prizes to be won, including a high-quality SONY camera bundle as well as travel and hotel vouchers worth up to 2000 Swiss Francs.
The highlight of the contest is a public exhibition of the best images: From September 14 to 20, selected photographs will be showcased in the large hall of Zurich's main train station, making them accessible to a broad public.
With AGRIPHOTO, the 'Swiss Farmers' campaign aims to highlight the diversity of themes that shape our food and landscapes. At the same time, the competition invites participants to explore these topics from various perspectives and capture them photographically.
