14.04.2026, PLAN-B NET ZERO now offers its customers the opportunity to support social and environmental projects directly through their electricity contract. With the newly introduced Impact Tariffs, the Swiss scale-up combines certified green electricity with demonstrable environmental impact. The first partner is everwave, the Aachen-based impact company for cleaning rivers and water bodies worldwide.

Impact Tariffs: Tariff modules with measurable impact

The Impact Tariffs are available as an optional add-on to any fixed price tariff from PLAN-B NET ZERO and are directly translated into measurable environmental performance: Every euro corresponds to the removal of one kilogram of plastic from water bodies. Customers can choose between three levels:

Start +1 EUR per month = 1 kg of plastic waste removed from water Boost +3 EUR per month = 3 kg of plastic waste removed from water Ultra +5 EUR per month = 5 kg of plastic waste removed from water

The monthly amount is directed straight into specifically defined environmental services with the implementation partner, independently audited and documented publicly. Customers will soon be able to view the cumulative annual contribution in the PLAN-B NEO app.

"We believe that real change starts in everyday life. With the Impact Tariffs, we provide our community with a tool that is low-effort but highly impactful. Monthly, transparent, and measurably comprehensible," says Bradley Mundt, founder and CEO of PLAN-B NET ZERO.

Partnership with everwave becomes permanent and scalable

The collaboration with everwave has been in place since December 2025. The initial project was a joint initiative in Cambodia, where 10,000 kilograms of plastic waste were recovered from rivers and canals, based on the principle: 1 euro = 1 kilogram of waste.

With the new tariffs, a one-off initiative becomes a scalable, continuous impact model.

"Together with everwave, we have already removed 10,000 kilograms of waste from waters in Cambodia. Clean energy alone is not enough; we also need a clean planet," says Julia Schnitger, Head of Marketing at PLAN-B NET ZERO.

Everwave uses collection boats, barriers, and manual clean-ups to stop plastic before it reaches the sea. AI-powered route optimization maximizes impact in the respective water bodies. To date, everwave has removed more than 2.4 million kilograms of plastic from rivers in Cambodia, Albania, and Thailand and has developed a Plastic-Credit mechanism that makes environmental impact reliably measurable for the first time. A data-driven tracking system ensures that each credit is uniquely assigned, documented, and verifiable.

"Impact is not created through promises but through traceable implementation. Especially in light of increasing regulatory requirements on environmental claims, such as regarding verifiability and transparency, companies must clearly demonstrate the contribution they are making - from each kilogram to the entire project," says Clemens Feigl, CEO and Co-Founder of everwave.

World Earth Day, 22 April 2026

On April 22, World Earth Day, PLAN-B NET ZERO and everwave are setting another impulse together: As part of a social media campaign on the companies' channels, each like will be translated into concrete environmental impact: 1 like corresponds to 1 kilogram less plastic waste in water bodies worldwide.

Further partners planned

The Charity Tariffs are designed as an open system. Everwave is the first partner, with further organizations from nature conservation and social initiatives to follow. Customers will soon be able to choose which project they want to support with their contribution.

"Everwave is just the beginning. In the long term, we aim to build a portfolio of Impact Partners that deliver measurable impact. Our goal is to give our community true freedom of choice, for projects that truly make a difference," says Bradley Mundt.

About everwave

Everwave cleans the environment: With waste collection boats on rivers, the company prevents waste from entering the oceans. Supported by artificial intelligence, waste is identified and analyzed; the collected material is then processed in an environmentally friendly way. Everwave organizes long-term, holistic cleaning projects - including in Albania, Thailand, and Cambodia - ensuring clean rivers and seas. To date, the company has already collected over 2.4 million kilograms of waste from rivers. In addition to on-site operational efforts, everwave also raises public awareness and inspires other companies to take part.
