15.01.2026, Reka increased the consolidated gross income in its operational business to CHF 107 million in 2025 (previous year: CHF 104 million). Drivers were higher occupancy rates in Reka holiday resorts in Switzerland and an increase in business volume in Reka Money, particularly thanks to the mobility budget Reka Rail+. The company expects further revenue growth in 2026, supported by the opening of the new holiday resort Ortano Mare on Elba.

With this renewed record revenue, Reka seamlessly continues the success of previous years. Revenue increased in all areas. 'The growth in all areas encourages us to consistently pursue the path we've taken by expanding holiday offers in Switzerland and the Mediterranean region,' comments Reka CEO Roland Ludwig on the results. At the same time, Reka is investing in digital transformation and marketing to further enhance the appeal of its products.

Reka Gift Card: The Forward-Looking Alternative to Reka Checks In the Reka Money business segment, gross income rose to CHF 31.1 million in 2025, 1.5% higher than the previous year. Over 600,000 customers used the Reka-Card last year, generating a transaction turnover of CHF 513.3 million. The sustainable mobility budget Reka Rail+ achieved a market presence with a 251% growth thanks to new customers.

Already in spring 2025, Reka announced that the popular Reka Checks would be replaced by a more widely applicable gift card in 2026. With the discontinuation of Reka Checks, an almost 60-year success story comes to an end. However, the new gift card is already very popular and offers widespread usability at common acceptance points and online retailers. Already purchased checks remain valid indefinitely and can still be used as a means of payment.

Reka Holidays: New Resort in the Mediterranean and Further Development in Switzerland Reka's holiday business benefited from the increased demand for family holidays in Switzerland and was able to increase gross income by 3.5% to CHF 83.7 million. Besides the positive development in occupancy of the holiday villages, the Swiss Holiday Park, Parkhotel Brenscino, and the Resort Golfo del Sole (Tuscany, Italy) also contributed to the successful development. This result is all the more remarkable given that the Reka holiday village at Lenk has been closed since March 2025 to make way for a new building.

The construction start of the new Reka holiday village at Lenk also marked an important milestone in the last fiscal year. The modern holiday village will welcome its first guests at Christmas 2027. With the takeover and planned reopening in May 2026 of the holiday resort Ortano Mare on the Italian island of Elba, Reka is strengthening its presence in the Mediterranean. The resort enhances the portfolio with a particularly family-friendly destination and underscores the strategic intent to meet the continuing high demand for holidays in the Mediterranean region, alongside investments in Swiss holiday offers.

Holiday Happiness for All: Reka Foundation Holiday Aid Enables a Break for 950 Families In 2025, the Reka Foundation Holiday Aid enabled around 950 families and single parents with over 2,000 children to have a holiday week in Switzerland. Reka is thereby making a strong statement for social responsibility and showing how important it is to give families with limited financial means access to holidays and recreation. 'Holidays are not a luxury but a piece of quality of life - and that's exactly what we want to make possible,' emphasizes Roland Ludwig. With this commitment, Reka makes a valuable contribution to social welfare and creates lasting memories for families who otherwise would barely have a chance for holidays.

Reka: Committed to Sustainable Holiday Offers and Modern Fringe Benefits for Over 80 Years The Bern-based cooperative Reka has been setting standards in promoting sustainable tourism and economic development for over eight decades. In close cooperation with partners such as employers or employee organizations, Reka offers discounted, purpose-bound payment means like Reka-Pay, Reka-Lunch, and Reka Rail+. These enable access to leisure and mobility services as well as holiday offers.

In the Reka Holidays area, Reka operates and markets holiday facilities specially designed for the needs of families. With its commitment, it significantly contributes to strengthening tourism in economically weaker regions of Switzerland. Furthermore, Reka also owns two resorts in Italy. Remarkably, Reka's exemplary sustainability record is one they can boast of within the industry.

Additionally, the Reka Foundation Holiday Aid supports poverty-affected single parents and families with a unique offer: a holiday week in Switzerland for only 200 francs. This allows Reka to make an important contribution to social integration and the promotion of family holidays.
