Last year, Rivella Group sold 95 million litres of beverages, achieving a turnover of 140 million francs. This represents an increase of 2% compared to the previous year. In its home market in Switzerland, Rivella Group even recorded a sales growth of 3%, with a volume of 65 million litres sold. Co-CEO Silvan Brauen of Rivella Group expresses satisfaction: "We can look back on a successful year. The clear focus on our two core brands, Rivella and Focuswater, has proven to be the right decision."
The growth trend in the vitamin water brand Focuswater remains unbroken. The company achieved a double-digit increase with Focuswater last year. With Focuswater Shine, the company introduced another sugar- and sweetener-free variety last year. To meet the growing demand for light beverages in the future, Rivella Group has massively upgraded its factory in the past year. In the last two years alone, it has invested 16 million francs in a new bottling plant for Focuswater. The core brand Rivella still accounts for the largest share of the company's sales and volume. In the 2025 financial year, Rivella Blue Zero Sugar was particularly convincing within the Rivella range, benefiting greatly from the trend towards light beverages.
This month, Rivella Group was once again named the best employer in Switzerland, following their first win in 2021. The "Handelszeitung" and "PME" conduct an annual study evaluating Swiss companies with at least 250 employees, surveying over 15,000 employees. "That Rivella Group performed so well is a great honour for us, yet not purely coincidental," asserts Simone Müller-Ledermann, Head of People & Culture at Rivella: "For years, we have been strongly committed to a vibrant corporate culture, investing heavily in an attractive work environment and sharing these efforts actively. We believe that only satisfied and engaged employees can ensure a company's success."
An important personnel change at the company's highest leadership level is on the horizon this summer. Erland Brügger, who has served as CEO for 12 years and as Co-CEO since 2023, will leave the company at the end of July 2026 to focus more on his board mandates and new projects. His successor will be Christoph Messerli, the current CFO of Rivella Group. Christoph Messerli will take over the Co-CEO leadership of Rivella Group with Silvan Brauen. "The co-model at the CEO level has proven very effective. We benefit from new impulses and perspectives. I am very much looking forward to continuing this inspiring model with Christoph," says Co-CEO Silvan Brauen.
