23.12.2025, The Board of Directors has appointed Thomas Belohlavek as Head of the Sales Division and member of the Executive Board of Sanitas. With his extensive experience in the insurance sector, Thomas Belohlavek will play an important role in the further development of our customer growth.
Sanitas expands its Executive Board with the appointment of the distinguished insurance and sales expert Thomas Belohlavek. He brings many years of experience in the insurance industry. Thomas Belohlavek joins Sanitas from AXA XL Insurance, where he was last responsible for the position of Client Distribution Leader. Prior to this, he was responsible for direct sales at CSS Health Insurance.
Thomas Belohlavek has over 20 years of sales experience in various areas, with a focus on sustainably increasing sales productivity, introducing structured leadership and consultancy processes, as well as optimizing and developing the insurance conclusion process through innovative digital and analogue approaches. He holds a Master’s degree in Insurance Management and has attended various executive education programs at leading institutions such as HSG in St. Gallen, IMD Lausanne, and MIT in Boston.

Thomas Belohlavek will assume leadership of the Sales Division, subject to regulatory approval, as of 1 April 2026.
