What is time2learn My Skills?

Time2learn My Skills is a free, personal, and independent skill portfolio for learners. After completing their apprenticeship, users retain access to their relevant educational data, documented skills, and materials. Data transfer from time2learn is compliant with data protection regulations and occurs only with the consent of the learners.

The platform allows users to present their acquired technical and non-technical skills in a structured manner, develop their profile further, and use it purposefully for job applications or further education. Additional services are also available, which can be used at the user's request, such as customized job offers.

Thus, time2learn My Skills makes an important contribution to lifelong learning.

High Usage and Positive Feedback

Since its introduction, time2learn My Skills has been actively used. Feedback from learners is consistently positive. The long-term availability of personal educational data and the ability to maintain and expand on an individual skills profile are particularly appreciated.

Due to this positive response, time2learn My Skills is now also available to learners in the SEPHIR environment. This means additional target groups benefit from the extended features and sustainable approach of the platform.

Continuous Development

Time2learn My Skills is consistently being developed further to meet the evolving needs of learners and the job market. With the current version 1.2, another significant step towards professionalism and user-friendliness has been realized.

A central element of version 1.2 is the new CV editor. Based on the skills, educational stages, and practical experience stored in the profile, the system automatically generates a structured CV. This can be individually adjusted and optionally downloaded as a Word document for further editing or as a directly exportable PDF. This significantly reduces the effort required to create a professional CV while ensuring the quality and structure of the presentation.

Additionally, within version 1.2, profile details have been expanded. Users can now define personal strengths, focus areas, and career goals in the “About Me” section. Furthermore, there is the option to upload a profile picture, further enhancing professional online presence.

With these enhancements, version 1.2 not only improves user-friendliness but also increases the visibility and comparability of skills. The platform is thus increasingly becoming a central tool for the structured presentation of qualifications in the spirit of lifelong learning.

The continued development of time2learn My Skills will remain aligned with the needs of learners. Additional features are planned to optimize profile maintenance, increase the visibility of skills, and create stronger connections with the professional world.
