With the launch of Sunrise Rewards, there is a welcome bonus, and points as a loyalty currency are credited with every bill. Customers can use these points for offers such as premium services, exclusive event experiences, price advantages on smartphones and other devices, streaming services, shopping vouchers, and much more. The popular Sunrise Moments offers for exclusive and unique live and special family experiences are seamlessly integrated into Sunrise Rewards. In the coming weeks, Sunrise Rewards will be widely introduced through a campaign.
"Achieving sustainable growth with new customer business is becoming increasingly difficult. In the premium segment, where Sunrise positions itself as our main brand, price is losing its effect as the sole argument - also due to reductions over the years. Market practice is also that an offer becomes worse after a certain period and compared to acquisition offers. This is actually the opposite of what customers expect", explains André Krause about the situation and elaborates:
"We have adjusted our strategy and organization and are now focusing more than ever on existing customers with innovation, service, and loyalty. An offer gets better for customers the longer they stay with us and the more products they use from us. This leads to a win-win situation where customers benefit from exclusive advantages while we increase the value of the customer base and drive growth."
Sunrise Rewards is open to Sunrise customers who have at least one eligible, active mobile, internet, or home security subscription, an Iconic Bundle, a device plan, the Flex Upgrade option, or who subscribe to a streaming service (such as Netflix, Disney+, oneplus, Sky, etc.) through Sunrise. A welcome bonus rewards customers for their previous loyalty. From this starting credit, they receive an additional Sunrise Rewards point for every Swiss franc billed monthly, net.
The already well- known Sunrise Moments offers are seamlessly integrated into the Sunrise Rewards program, which now serves as the umbrella program for rewarding customer loyalty. This includes, for example, tickets for the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, discounted ski tickets, trips to the Europapark, and much more.
Silver, Gold, Platinum
Depending on the number of eligible products and loyalty duration, customers find themselves in a Silver, Gold, or Platinum status. They receive different offers, extra services, and exclusive deals associated with their status, which they can pay for with their Sunrise Rewards points. The points can be redeemed from the first day. Earned points are valid for two years.
Starting March 23, 2026, the first loyalty offers will launch. Loyalty offers will be continuously adapted. If customers want to secure a specific offer, they should act quickly.
Customers can find all Sunrise Rewards offers, even the very individual ones, at any time in their online customer account My Sunrise, accessible via a web browser or the app. My Sunrise thus becomes an expanded, personal marketplace for new, personal, and exclusive offers as well as unique experiences.
New: Streaming Services Open the Door to Sunrise Rewards
Alongside Sunrise Rewards, Sunrise launches another innovation: subscribing to a streaming service through Sunrise is now not only possible with a combined product of internet & TV but also with a standalone mobile, home security, or internet subscription, and all benefit from loyalty- related advantages with streaming services.
With the introduction of Sunrise Rewards, Sunrise continually expands access to streaming subscriptions such as Netflix, Disney+, blue Sport, Sky, DAZN, etc. Services are accessed through apps, Smart-TVs, third-party TV boxes like the Apple TV Box, or via a web browser.
Nothing changes in terms of the convenience of managing streaming services centrally and clearly with My Sunrise in one place.
