15.06.2026, Bern - On the occasion of the delegates' assembly on June 11, 2026, the SVIT Switzerland welcomes the new Chamber of Portfolio and Asset Management (FK PAM) as the 16th member of the association. Portfolio and asset management have developed into central management disciplines in the real estate industry. Pension funds, fund management companies, real estate companies, and institutional investors collectively bear the long-term value and performance responsibility for real estate assets worth hundreds of billions. Until now, there was no independent professional platform in the industry to specifically address the strategic issues of this discipline. The FK PAM fills this gap.

The new chamber positions itself as a network and competence platform for leading market players. It is aimed at corporate members that strategically manage, structure, develop, evaluate, or support real estate investments transactionally - from pension funds and fund management companies to real estate companies and consultancies with an institutional focus.

The chamber is led by a co-presidency: Severin Wenger (Migros Pension Fund) and Terence Kast (PROCIMMO SA) jointly lead the FK PAM. The seven-member founding board unites different perspectives and roles from institutional real estate management.

"The FK PAM creates, for the first time, an institutionally anchored voice for portfolio and asset management within the industry. We want to establish common standards, promote professional discourse, and speak with one voice as an industry - to regulators, politics, and the public," says Severin Wenger, Co-President FK PAM.

"With the FK PAM, we can present ourselves as an industry with a clear professional position and a voice that is heard," adds Terence Kast, Co- President FK PAM.

The FK PAM is embedded as an independent chamber within the structure of SVIT Switzerland. Membership is open to corporate members active in institutional real estate portfolio and asset management.
