Swisscom is number 1: In the major broadband and fixed-line test of 2025 by the trade magazine connect, Swisscom secures the top spot once again in the category 'national provider'. With 991 out of a possible 1,000 points, Swisscom receives the award 'outstanding' – a clear sign of continuous top performance and innovative strength. Connect writes: 'All in all, this results in a lead of 12 points over competitors – and leads to nationwide overall victory.'

The evaluation is based on crowdsourcing data collected directly from customers via their smartphones and tablets. Real usage experiences in download, upload, latency, stability, and availability were tested. The result: Swisscom offers the best network throughout Switzerland – also in direct comparison with networks in Germany and Austria.
A key success factor is the consistent expansion of the fibre-optic network. By the end of 2025, Swisscom will increase FTTH coverage (Fibre to the Home) to around 57% – with the aim of reaching 75–80% coverage by 2030. This lays the foundation for people and businesses in Switzerland to rediscover every day what possibilities the digital world holds for them.
