The online comparison service comparis.ch annually examines the satisfaction of the Swiss population with their health insurance, household and personal liability insurance, car insurance, and mortgage provider. A representative group of 4,500 people is surveyed for this purpose. Providers receive the silver seal for a score of 5 or higher, the gold seal for scores between 5.2 and 5.4, and the platinum seal for scores of 5.5 or higher. In 2026, no company received the platinum seal.
For all products, the following dimensions are measured: 1. Price/Performance, 2. Quality and Service, 3. Communication and Transparency, 4. Touchpoints and Contact. Furthermore, overall satisfaction with the companies is assessed. The best providers per dimension receive an additional accolade.

Methodology
Once a year, comparis.ch conducts an independent survey on customer satisfaction with their insurance providers in the categories of basic health insurance, car insurance, household and personal liability insurance, and mortgages.
The survey is conducted with a representative panel from the market research institute Innofact. In May 2026, 4,500 people from German-speaking Switzerland, Romandie, and Ticino were surveyed online by Innofact.
The dimensions evaluated were: 1. Price/Performance, 2. Touchpoints and Contact, 3. Quality and Service, 4. Information and Transparency. Participants rated each dimension with a score between 1 (worst) and 6 (excellent). Additionally, overall satisfaction with the company is rated on a scale of 1 to 6. A weighted average was calculated from the four dimensions and the overall satisfaction.
The Comparis Seal recognises the providers with the best ratings:
Providers with a Comparis score of 5.5 or higher: Platinum
Providers with a Comparis score of 5.2 to 5.4: Gold
Providers with a Comparis score of 5.0 and 5.1: Silver
Additionally, the best companies in the four individual dimensions are also recognised.
