13.04.2026, Trend Micro, one of the world's leading providers of cybersecurity solutions, today announces that its enterprise division will now operate under the name TrendAI™. The new brand identity reflects the evolution of the business at a time when AI is increasingly shaping digital infrastructures. This aligns with the company's focus on solving real security challenges and the growing importance of managing cyber risks as a central business priority.

Organisations are increasingly aligning their operations around AI, autonomous systems, and data-driven decision-making. Therefore, security must also evolve. TrendAI addresses the growing attack surface by enabling both the protection of infrastructures and applications, as well as the management of how AI systems operate, connect, and make decisions across the enterprise.

TrendAI's approach to AI security is based on four core principles: creating transparency about how AI is used and how systems and agents interact across different environments; understanding the context and intent behind these interactions; enforcing policies and control mechanisms for their use and agent-driven actions; and integrating human oversight at critical decision points.

Eva Chen, CEO of Trend Micro, states: "TrendAI reflects our belief that security must evolve as quickly as the technology it protects. Companies are increasingly reshaping their operations around AI, data, and agent systems. Our task is to ensure they can do so with confidence, control, and built-in resilience from the start."

With the new brand name, the company is expressing its evolution from a comprehensive portfolio of security products to a unified AI-driven enterprise cybersecurity platform: TrendAI Vision One™ is recognised by analyst firms such as Gartner, IDC, and Forrester as leading in cloud, endpoint, network, and threat detection. The new brand links the development and provision of security solutions for AI-driven enterprises more closely with the requirements of modern organisations for effective cyber risk management—beyond infrastructure protection to the management of AI-driven systems and decisions.

Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer and Head of TrendAI, says: "This is a fundamentally new way of thinking about cybersecurity. As AI systems take on more responsibilities, security must evolve from reacting to events to understanding intentions and managing machine-driven actions. TrendAI is aligned with how our customers operate today: we combine decades of threat intelligence with real-world experience to help companies reduce risks, act faster, and work securely at machine speed."

As part of the realignment, TrendAI is also introducing and expanding several strategic initiatives:

- TrendAI AI Security Brief: A new podcast series with current, practical insights at the intersection of AI and security. - TrendAI Spark: A series of global events bringing together customers, partners, and the tech community to shed light on the impact of AI on security, risk, and leadership decisions. - Global partnership with S-RM: Expanding the partner ecosystem with a global incident response and cyber risk advisory partner, integrated into post-breach workflows to support organisations in transitioning from acute containment to long-term risk reduction and security strategy. - Cooperation with HackerVerse: Independent adversarial testing using autonomous AI agents executing real MITRE-ATT&CK techniques to continuously validate detection effectiveness based on measurable outcomes.
