16.04.2026, TrendAI™, the enterprise cybersecurity division of Trend Micro, today announces a strategic collaboration with Anthropic. As part of this partnership, Claude models will be integrated into TrendAI’s entire cybersecurity platform to enable agent-based workflows, automation, and AI-native security operations. Additionally, both companies are advancing targeted threat research to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems and infrastructures. TrendAI will leverage Claude to accelerate vulnerability detection while ensuring coordinated mitigation measures in practice.

The enterprise division of Trend Micro accelerates transformation into a leading provider in AI security.

The use of Claude at TrendAI extends to threat research, practical risk mitigation, platform innovation, and the global go-to-market strategy, covering the entire AI security lifecycle—from vulnerability detection through automated defense measures to AI-native security operations.

“For 35 years, TrendAI has been at the forefront of cybersecurity. By leveraging Claude for TrendAI Vision One, as well as initiatives like the TrendAI Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) and Pwn2Own, TrendAI is advancing the next generation of vulnerability detection and reporting—providing defenders with a critical advantage,” explains Ash Alhashim, Head of Cybersecurity GTM at Anthropic.

The collaboration's key priorities include:

Expansion of AI threat research: TrendAI scales its threat research to meet the growing attack surface in the AI field, building on proven programs like Pwn2Own Berlin as part of the TrendAI ZDI. This approach incorporates vulnerabilities discovered in practice into AI systems, helping to identify and rectify critical vulnerabilities before they reach production environments.

Fostering AI-native innovation: Anthropic's Claude models will support TrendAI’s platform innovation, enhancing agent-based workflows, automation, and AI-native security operations. This allows companies to reduce alerts, respond faster, and scale their security measures alongside AI usage.

“We launched TrendAI to define the field of AI security,” says Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer and Head of TrendA. “The next phase is to globally scale this vision with leading partners like Anthropic. Our comprehensive, strategic collaboration in research, defense, and innovation will significantly shape the future of AI security.”

The announcement precedes the TrendAI Spark Leadership Exchange, expected to host over 600 cybersecurity executives in Phoenix, Arizona (USA) in May. Anthropic will be represented onstage alongside TrendAI and other industry leaders, reinforcing the joint commitment to shaping the future of AI security and engaging directly with global enterprise leaders.
