As part of the program, TrendAI utilises Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview to support the review and analysis of software code. This allows security researchers to identify vulnerabilities more swiftly and disclose them in a coordinated manner to prioritise their closure. Additionally, it enables measurable risk reduction through vulnerability shielding and virtual patching.
AI significantly accelerates vulnerability detection. TrendAI sees this as a positive signal for the industry and as part of the comprehensive, collaborative ecosystem that the cybersecurity company has actively contributed to alongside organisations like Anthropic for decades.
"Together with Anthropic, we aim to make all software safer with the help of AI," explains Rachel Jin, Chief Platform and Business Officer, TrendAI. "Organisations increasingly rely on software that can massively scale and support business-critical functions. Project Glasswing offers an important opportunity to explore how advanced AI can assist software providers in identifying vulnerabilities earlier and improving the security and resilience of the systems that customers depend on daily."
TrendAI joins a growing community of organisations participating in Project Glasswing to better understand how cutting-edge and advanced AI models can support defensive security measures and enhance the safety of critical software infrastructure. The insights gained in the program contribute to industry-wide efforts to strengthen the security of the digital ecosystem.
