TSG Switzerland SA: 40 Years of Experience in the Energy Market

TSG Switzerland SA has been active in Switzerland for 40 years and was known until 2020 under the well-established Swiss name Tokheim. The company has extensive experience in the installation and maintenance of classic energy distribution infrastructures for mobility.

In recent years, the portfolio has been systematically expanded. Today, it includes charging infrastructures, transformer and medium-voltage systems, battery storage solutions, photovoltaic systems, and intelligent energy management systems.

Gaining Expertise in the Growth Market of Electrical Engineering

Founded in 1918, Pfanner & Frei AG is based in Opfikon (ZH) and employs 62 people, with a strong market presence. Besides traditional electrical installations, the company offers telecommunication solutions, specialised installations for shopfitting and gastronomy, and infrastructure and IT solutions.

The company has a strong regional presence, especially in the Canton of Zurich.

Future Market of Electrical Engineering: Strong Perspectives

The Swiss market for electrical engineering and new energies is undergoing structural change. The rapidly growing data centre market in particular is evolving into a central driver of demand for powerful and highly available energy infrastructure.

Data centres impose the highest demands on supply security, network stability, redundancy, and energy efficiency. At the same time, sustainable integration into existing power grids is increasingly coming into focus.

In parallel, electromobility and battery storage solutions are driving further growth in the market. The increasing complexity of technical infrastructures requires integrated solutions from a single source – from planning through installation to operation.

Given these developments, the integration of Pfanner & Frei AG and re.com Elektroanlagen AG enhances TSG Group's technical competence and operational capacity in Switzerland. It expands the project resources and deepens the know-how, especially in demanding electrical engineering applications.
