Ready for any situation: The new Victorinox emergency tools Victorinox combines high-quality craftsmanship with thoughtful Swiss design to create emergency tools that are functional, durable, and compact, offering practical solutions for those who value preparedness without compromise. These emergency tools are designed for situations where power supply may be uncertain, such as natural events or infrastructure problems. The components are based on real user experience. The LED light, fire steel with tinder, and integrated whistle have proven useful during evacuations and rescue operations.
When function makes the difference Both models stand out with their fluorescent yellow, glow-in-the-dark handles, allowing them to be located even in low-light situations or during power outages. The integrated LED light guarantees reliable orientation when the power is out or when navigating outdoors in the dark. For added safety, each tool includes a whistle, allowing users to signal their presence in an emergency. While the Huntsman Lite is also equipped with an integrated fire starter and fire steel, both models are compact and lightweight. These features make them essential companions for everyday use as well as in emergency situations.
The Signature Lite is a compact companion with eight functions, supporting users in everyday as well as emergency situations. A small blade, a nail file with screwdriver, and an integrated LED light are quickly at hand for daily tasks, while the ring, ballpoint pen, and luminescent handle with integrated whistle provide additional comfort and safety features. It is lightweight, easy to carry, and quickly accessible at any time.
The Huntsman Lite builds on the iconic Huntsman and expands it into an emergency tool. With 23 functions, it combines versatile solutions for everyday use, such as blades, screwdrivers, scissors, can opener and bottle opener, tweezers, a multi-hook and a Phillips screwdriver, along with additional specific elements for emergencies. The integrated LED light offers orientation during power outages, the whistle guarantees reliable acoustic signals, and a compact fire starter and fire steel enable ignition without external power sources.

In 1884, Karl Elsener opened his cutlery workshop in Ibach-Schwyz. Back then, Switzerland was still among the poorer countries in Europe. In the early years, Karl Elsener fought against poverty and unemployment in the Schwyz basin. He created jobs and was thus able to counteract emigration abroad. In 1891, he was able to deliver the soldier's knife to the Swiss Army for the first time. In 1897, he developed the Swiss Officer’s and Sports Knife – now known as the Swiss Army Knife – laying the foundation for a flourishing company that would assert itself worldwide. His spirit of solidarity, attachment to his homeland, and firm commitment to solid values have since shaped the business philosophy of Victorinox.
Today, Victorinox is a globally active company with six product categories: pocket knives, kitchen knives, watches, travel gear, clothing, and perfumes. The Swiss Army Knife is considered the core product and is pioneering in the development of all product categories.
