Ecofin Investment Consulting AG was founded in 1996 by Professor Martin Janssen and is a spin-off of the Ecofin Group. Over the years, the company has developed into one of Switzerland's leading providers of investment consulting services for pension funds, foundations, and large private investors.
Leadership role in consulting for pension funds and foundations
With the acquisition, Vaudoise strengthens its complementary strategy outside of the core insurance business and underscores its declared goal of being the market leader in comprehensive consultancy for pension funds. The employees of Prevanto AG and Ecofin Investment Consulting AG will work closely together. The two companies are to be quickly integrated.
Continuity and institutional anchoring are ensured by Dr. Alexandra Janssen, current board member of Ecofin Investment Consulting AG, who will also join the board of Prevanto AG. Continuity is also provided by the senior staff and the team of Ecofin Investment Consulting AG, who will continue to serve their clients unchanged.
Furthermore, Vaudoise will deepen its collaboration with the Ecofin Group to incorporate their expertise in digitalisation and artificial intelligence into services for institutional investors.
Stephan Wyss, founding partner of Prevanto, explains: 'Ecofin Investment Consulting AG offers investment consulting at the highest level and significantly strengthens the existing consultancy offering from Prevanto for pension funds and foundations. This positions us as the benchmark for solutions to the complex challenges of our clientele.'
Stephanie Spozio, Managing Director of Ecofin Investment Consulting AG, states: 'We are all looking forward to the collaboration and the new opportunities that this merger will open up.'
