With the new tower poster, the EuroAirport once again underscores its commitment to culture in the tri-border region. The prominent tower space is purposefully used to showcase cultural institutions and outstanding artworks from the region, extending their reach beyond national borders. The airport sees itself as a platform that makes art accessible to a broad, international audience.
The chosen work Vega Pâl is part of Victor Vasarely's renowned 'Vega' series, playing with geometric shapes, colour gradients, and optical illusions. The apparent bulging and movement of the composition is characteristic of kinetic art and gives the motif strong visual dynamism. EuroAirport is pleased to bring this iconic modern work into the public space.
The Musée Unterlinden in Colmar is one of the most visited art museums in France and offers a unique journey through nearly 7,000 years of art history – from prehistory to contemporary art. With the tower poster, this cultural diversity is made visible beyond the airport.
The next major exhibition at the Musée Unterlinden, 'Conversation(s)', will be on view from 26 June to 7 December 2026, bringing masterpieces of medieval art into dialogue with modern and contemporary works.
