27.02.2026, From March 1, 2026, Viva Luzern Eichhof will be managed by Christian Bünter and Christian Schuster as Co-Operations Managers. Christian Bünter will focus on strategic management, while Christian Schuster will concentrate on the operational management of Viva Luzern Eichhof.


Christian Bünter has been leading the Viva Luzern Eichhof senior center since August 1, 2023, and has been part of the executive board of Viva Luzern as a representative of the senior centers since January 1, 2025. The additional responsibilities in his role as an executive board member are the reason why Viva Luzern is embarking on a new path with a Co-Operations management at the Eichhof location.

Extensive leadership experience in care and support

'We are very pleased to have been able to appoint Christian Schuster, the long-standing Head of Care and Support at Viva Luzern Eichhof, for the role of Co-Operations Manager,' says Andrea Wanner, CEO of Viva Luzern. His new area of responsibility includes the operational management of Viva Luzern Eichhof, serving as the primary contact for employees, residents, and relatives. Christian Schuster has been a valued part of the Eichhof team for nearly two decades. He has been the Deputy Operations Manager since 2021 and has led the care and support department since 2019. The trained nursing professional HF also holds a qualification in institutional management in the social and socio-medical sector from Artiset. Christian Schuster is 42 years old and lives in Emmenbrücke.
