Amidst the historic buildings of Zofingen's old town, exhibitors from Switzerland and abroad present a wide variety of organic products. For most producers and merchants, it is a given that they stand personally behind their market stalls at Bio Marché - offering intriguing background information about the origins of their products. At many stalls, visitors can also relish the opportunity to taste freely.
Zofingen, the "Swiss Organic Capital", not only offers exciting discoveries but also culinary delights.
Bio Marché appeals to all senses and is a fantastic festival for the entire family: jugglers and street musicians provide joy for ears and hearts, the muscle-powered carousel promises radiant children's eyes, and a visit to the lovingly tended petting zoo invites relaxation.
Return to Bio Marché after 20 years
A special highlight in this year's cultural programme is set to thrill the hearts of blues fans: exactly 20 years after their last performance on the Bio Marché stage, the well- known "Bluesaholics" return. On Friday, 19 June, the six local heroes will rock the old town with their exuberant joy of playing, crisp riffs and an earthy, honest groove, offering a generous dose of festival atmosphere.
With all that's on offer, it's hard to believe: entry to Bio Marché remains free. This is largely thanks to strong partners, above all the main sponsor Coop.
