The La Première Lounge in Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport embodies the promise of an exceptional travel experience, providing guests with an exclusive travel feeling upon arrival. With fine dining as well as areas for relaxation, wellness treatments, and work, every detail is focused on making each stay as pleasant as possible.
The area, redesigned in collaboration with MARKS Bandimage, spans more than 1,000 m² and is designed to offer each guest more privacy and comfort. It complements the new 'La Première' airport experience introduced in summer 2024 and the new La Première suites onboard selected Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. With generous, inviting spaces, warm materials, and carefully designed lighting, every detail contributes to creating an elegant yet intimate atmosphere.
The La Première Lounge – an extraordinary travel experience.
Upon entering the lounge, guests are greeted by the airline's distinctive room scent. Created by Francis Kurkdjian, the French master perfumer and artistic director of Maison Francis Kurkdjian, the scent is named AF001.
At the heart of the lounge, the newly designed dining area combines the atmosphere of an elegant dining room with a high level of privacy. This cozy and bright space offers a comprehensive dining experience with table service and was awarded 'Best First Class Lounge Dining Experience' by Skytrax in 2025. The menu, curated by Alain Ducasse and his team, celebrates the best of French haute cuisine. Guests can enjoy the chef's famous Coquillettes with ham and black truffle, delicious seasonal vegetarian dishes, and the legendary Rum and Armagnac Baba, renowned from Monte Carlo. The culinary offering is complemented by a carefully curated selection of wines, champagnes, and Grand Crus, meticulously chosen by Alain Ducasse's teams.
The generous lounge area has also been redesigned and now feels even warmer and more personal. The new furniture combines comfort and elegance, including the iconic 'Ribbon' chair by French designer Pierre Paulin. Generous armchairs, cozy sofas, and cleverly placed niches and partitions divide the space, creating individual retreats. A carefully curated selection of images further underscores the airline's history and identity.
The lounge also features a generous Sisley spa area – a pioneering French brand in phytocosmetics. To enhance the wellness experience, a second treatment room has been established. Before departure or between flights, guests can choose from various treatments tailored to the duration of their stay and enjoy the expertise of the French phytocosmetic brand Sisley.
The relaxation area has been completely redesigned and is now a true oasis of calm within the lounge. New private rooms with daybeds, duvets, and soft pillows invite guests to take a break. The offering is complemented by a new work area with a private niche for phone calls and confidential conversations.
Every six months, Air France presents a new significant artwork by renowned artists in the La Première Lounge. To mark the lounge's reopening, guests can admire the 'Wonder Block' by French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel. The artwork in shades of amber and Indian pink resembles a wall, a pillar, or a totem, combining monumental presence with delicate sophistication.
Private suites directly adjacent to the lounge.
For maximum privacy before the flight or during a stopover, La Première guests can reserve exclusive 45 m² suites directly next to the lounge. Introduced in summer 2024, three suites are available, two of which can be interconnected upon request.
Each suite features a spacious living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a cozy outdoor terrace. Selected artworks also lend the suites a special atmosphere. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with champagne and Sturia caviar. These suites are designed as private retreats, allowing guests to enjoy the menu created by Alain Ducasse and his team in absolute privacy.
