For decades, the Christmas collection of the Catholic parishes in Switzerland has been a strong sign of living solidarity with the children in the Holy Land. Each year, the collection makes a significant contribution to the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem.
The donations support the medical care of children – regardless of their origin or religion. While we celebrate the holiday in peace in Switzerland, the collection is a reminder that in Bethlehem, many children are in urgent need of help.
Here's how you can help: The Christmas collection takes place in all Catholic parishes in Switzerland during the Christmas services. Every donation helps to bring hope and healing to sick children.

Kinderhilfe Bethlehem is an international Christian relief organisation founded in 1963 on the German-Swiss initiative. The association operates the Caritas Baby Hospital in Bethlehem. The head office is located in Lucerne.
The operational responsibility for the association lies with the head office. Country offices at the German Caritas Association in Freiburg i. Br. as well as in Italy and Austria support the head office in information work and fundraising.
In addition to operating the Caritas Baby Hospital, Kinderhilfe Bethlehem promotes projects to empower children, young people, and women in the region and provides emergency aid in crisis situations.
