Cindy Reiss-Clark has over 20 years of international leadership experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. Most recently, she was Chief Commercial Officer and member of the Executive Leadership Team at West Pharmaceutical Services, a US-listed market leader in pharmaceutical packaging and delivery systems. Her proven market expertise and strong commercial focus will further strengthen the Healthcare Division as a central strategic growth pillar of Dätwyler.
"Our Healthcare Division is a key driver of the long-term growth strategy. With Cindy Reiss-Clark, we gain an internationally experienced leader who combines strategic foresight with operational implementation power," said Dr. Paul Hälg, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Furthermore, Chief Technology Officer Dr. Frank Schön will leave the Executive Board for personal reasons on 1 May 2026. In the future, he will be responsible for the R&D area "Technologies & Methods," which bundles the company's technological expertise and focuses cross-divisionally on material, process, and engineering excellence.
With these changes, the management will be more clearly aligned with the operational responsibilities of the divisions and the finance function. At the same time, innovation activities will be further refined and report directly to the CEO to ensure strong strategic alignment and implementation. In this setup, "Technologies & Methods" will drive technological advancement, while "Innovation & Business Development" will focus on market-oriented development and commercialization of new solutions. This is a clearer alignment of existing activities and not about building additional structures. In this context, the venture units "Wearable Sensors" and "Soft Sensors and Actuators" will be assigned to the "Innovation & Business Development" area in order to further strengthen the responsibility for market validation, scaling, and commercialization.
"These adjustments create a more transparent and sustainable structure with clear responsibilities. We sharpen the link between our technology activities and customer benefits—and ensure that technological excellence is consistently translated into market-ready solutions and sustainable growth," said Volker Cwielong, CEO.
