The concept was initiated and developed by Prolens AG. With the new store, the company brings together its expertise in eye optics, optometry, and contact lenses in a new format that focuses on consultation, technology, and individual solutions.
Leica contributes its extensive expertise in the development of optical systems. Leica lenses' technology is based on the demand for vision quality to be as precise and natural as possible. This demand also shapes the store design: clear lines, reduced materials, and a calm atmosphere create space for personal consultation and individual decisions.
The offering is complemented by a curated selection of international premium eyewear brands. Labels such as Ahlem, Arte & Gifre, Dita, Eyevan, Face à Face, LARS, MYKITA, SALT. and others stand for distinctive design, high-quality materials, and diverse style worlds.
A central part of the concept is the integration of the Zurich contact lens and optometry specialist Ottlens, which also belongs to Prolens AG. Ottlens' services will be continued at the new location and supplemented with additional offerings in eye health.
These include optometric screenings and digital eye analyses. The examinations go beyond the classic eye test and enable additional insights into health through high-resolution retinal images. The goal of the AI-supported technology is to make changes visible early, recognize early warning signs of heart, vascular, and eye diseases, and help people keep an eye on their eye health in the long term.
