21.05.2026, ImmoScout24 transforms real estate search into conversational search and advances its AI feature. Previously, a single input in natural language was translated into suitable filters. Now, users can continually refine and adjust their requirements in interaction with the platform, creating a dynamic search process that better aligns with real needs and leads to faster results.

Following the introduction of the intelligent, AI-supported search in early 2026, ImmoScout24 takes the next step by expanding it with a conversational function, initially available in the web version. This development transforms the real estate search from a single input into a dynamic exchange that continuously adapts to individual needs. This is particularly helpful as the real estate search often starts with a wish or idea, rather than directly with clearly defined filters. While the previous intelligent search could automatically translate freely formulated wishes into suitable filters, the new conversational search allows for the ongoing evolution of the request. Requirements can be specified, altered, or supplemented during the process, guided by AI follow-up questions. Just as real decision-making processes develop.

From Understanding to Thinking Along
ImmoScout24 had created a new, intuitive entry into real estate search with the intelligent search. The conversational development takes it a step further: It not only understands inputs but responds to them in context and actively continues the process. Users can engage with suggestions, ask follow- up questions, or spontaneously adjust their ideas.

More Guidance through Continuous Interaction
In today's market, speed and relevance are crucial. At the same time, individual requirements are often still vague at the beginning or change over time. The conversational search addresses precisely this point. It makes it possible to articulate even vague ideas, such as "Show me apartments with a swimming pool in Ticino," gradually concretise them, and eventually translate them into suitable filters. This results in fewer detours and more efficient access to suitable listings, which otherwise might not have been shown.

“With the conversational further development of our AI search, we are consistently taking the next step: from intelligent interpretation to real interaction,” says Martin Waeber, Managing Director at SMG Real Estate. “Our goal is to bring real estate search even closer to people's actual decision-making processes and support them as best as possible.”

Consistent Advancement of the AI Function
The goal of SMG Real Estate is to make real estate search as easy as possible and align it more closely with how decisions are actually made. The new function will be gradually introduced and continuously developed in live operation. Feedback from usage flows into optimization. This creates a search that not only understands but provides even more efficient support. In the future, searches for features like "view of greenery" or "charming and light-flooded" will also be possible.
