07.09.2026, Primeo Energie has entered into exclusive negotiations with Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, regarding a stake in Primeo Energie France. The planned transaction aims to further develop Primeo Energie's business in France.

Primeo Energie has entered into negotiations with Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies over a 50 percent stake in the French subsidiary Primeo Energie France. This entity is currently 65 percent owned by Primeo Energie Schweiz AG and 35 percent by the French energy company Qair. Within the Primeo Energie Group, Primeo Energie Schweiz AG is responsible for renewable energy aggregation, energy trading, energy supply, and energy services.

It is intended that Qair will sell its entire 35 percent stake to Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies. Additionally, Primeo Energie Schweiz AG will relinquish 15 percent of its shares. Upon successful completion of the transaction, Primeo Energie Schweiz AG and Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies would each hold 50 percent of Primeo Energie France. This transaction would not affect Primeo Energie Schweiz AG's control over Primeo Energie France. Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies, in turn, would strengthen its governance, enabling the company to fully assume its role as a shareholder partner.

Within the Crédit Agricole Group, Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies is tasked with supporting the transformations of all Crédit Agricole Group clients. The unit offers its expertise in financial engineering, consulting, and energy and environmental solutions for individuals, businesses, local authorities, and farmers. The broad customer base, nationwide distribution network, and the Crédit Agricole Group's relationships with renewable energy producers would provide Primeo Energie France with new perspectives in electricity distribution and the aggregation and marketing of renewable electricity production.

Cédric Christmann, CEO of Primeo Energie: "With the planned entry of Crédit Agricole Transitions & Énergies, Primeo Energie continues its commitment to the French energy market and lays the foundation for the further development of Primeo Energie France." Benoît Doin, Managing Director of Primeo Energie Schweiz AG: "Crédit Agricole is the world's tenth-largest bank by total assets. The interest of such a significant player underscores the robustness of Primeo Energie France's business model."

The planned transaction is still subject to the completion of negotiations, necessary consultations, and regulatory approvals. Implementation is planned for the second half of 2026.
