About the Game
The video game 007 First Light will be officially released worldwide on 27 May 2026. Developed by IO Interactive (the creators of the Hitman series) in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, the game offers a captivating, standalone story about a 26-year-old James Bond and delves into a fresh interpretation of the franchise with a re-imagined origin story of the character.
An OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph plays a central role in the missions. Equipped with a hacking device that can disrupt electronic devices and a powerful laser bracelet, it is indispensable for players on their journey to achieving 007 status. Now, OMEGA has brought this watch to life and incorporated its design into the James Bond watch collection.
The Creation of the Watch
This new development is the first chronograph in the history of the James Bond Seamaster Diver 300M. It matches the appearance of the watch in the game, where the auxiliary dials play a functional role. The 44 mm watch is crafted from stainless steel and features a polished black ceramic bezel with a white enamel diving scale. Particularly noteworthy are the pushers made of polished black ceramic.
The black ceramic dial features the distinctive laser- engraved waves of the diver watch, characterized by a sub-dial ring at 3 o'clock adorned in PVD bronze-gold. The same PVD bronze-gold material is used for the central chronograph seconds hand, while all other hands and indices are rhodium-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova. The Seamaster script appears in red, and there is a date window at 6 o'clock.
NATO Strap Options
On the wrist, this Diver 300M features an exclusive new NATO strap inspired by the visual world and design elements of the game. The striped design comes in black, grey, and beige – just like the OMEGA watch shown in the film 'No Time to Die', but with a different pattern, and includes a special Seamaster buckle and engravings with the inscriptions '007' and 'First Light' on the loops.
Alternatively, wearers can choose from six more NATO straps available separately in the OMEGA accessory collection. These are each modelled after the different strap versions playable in the game.
Movement and Presentation
The watch is powered by the automatic OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 9900 and features a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock, along with a 60-minute and a 12-hour counter at 3 o'clock. The OMEGA watch offers superb precision, performance, and magnetic field resistance. The movement is visible through the sapphire crystal case back, with the 007 First Light logo in black metallisation on its underside.
Each watch is delivered in an exclusive presentation box – inspired by the case in which the OMEGA watches are transported in the game.
